 the menu- home-made mac and cheese with steamed broccoli and parmesan knots. (all are fav's of the boys)

 i was trying to let roen blow out his own candles. i think only a mother could hold a tray of lit cupcakes with one hand and hold off a very eager 3 yr old with the other.

 say it together now "aaaawwwhhhh how cute"

 um.....wow

 denali was "helping" roen open his loot

Denali crashed into Miners bike, but he rode it like this anyways....for days

 this is lake of the woods. it was still mostly frozen in the middle. 

but the boys got to throw rocks and that is the important part.

and the scariest park ever made.

sharp metal edges, gaps where kids or their body parts could fall through, 

and best of all lost of meth heads trolling around

 awesome

 marlo's visit also included a trip to see eden farm. a sweet little place 

where your childhood dreams of "horses everyday" come true.

Ben already posted about his birthday and our trip to crater lake. 

and that concludes our visit from marlo.

We went to the Oregon caves and on the way stopped at "it's a burl" the funnest funkiest little wood working place. they have tables, chairs, tree houses and everything in between.

Then Marlo watched the little ones and me, ben, and nali got to go see the caves. SUPER COOL!!!

then we drove around and found this cool reservoir, where the boys threw rocks to his hearts content 
and that is just the first day's adventures
